Home Visits

Doctor's bag

If you are housebound or too ill to come to the surgery, the doctor can visit you at home.

If you feel you need a home visit, please telephone St Andrews 477477, if possible, before 10.00am, as this helps the doctor to plan their rounds.

By outlining what is wrong to the receptionist, the doctor can decide the relative urgency of visits.

You can be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
